Shopfloor Manager (m/f/d) | Shanghai

For our Market Organization China we are looking for an expierenced Shopfloor Manager (m/f/d).

Job responsibilities

  • Manage production and warehouse operations with focus on quality, cost efficiency, deadlines and performance
  • Ensure alignment of local requirements (market and legal) with German/global standards
  • Plan and implement localization of products from headquarters
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators to manage production performance
  • Ensure and further develop quality standards and implement quality control processes according to international standards (e.g. ISO 9001)
  • Support development of supply chain processes and product-related topics such as certifications
  • Lead and develop the local organization and teams
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance processes to ensure equipment availability
  • Plan and implement investments and manage budgets within the area of responsibility
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean management standards

Your qualification and skills

  • Several years of experience in operations (production, warehouse or similar) and leadership
  • At least 5 years of experience in international and cross-functional environments
  • Strong technical understanding (mechanical, electrical or electromechanical)
  • Business management knowledge (e.g. cost control, planning, KPIs)
  • Initial experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and MS Office
  • Experience in project management and lean management
  • Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset
  • Intercultural awareness and willingness to take responsibility
  • Hands-on mentality and structured way of working
  • Business fluent English and native-level Chinese
